La Duree is a site-specific installation for the opening of the shopping mall on Zendai Himalayas Centre, Nanjing.
Inspired by the architectural style of the Himalayas Centre, a city-scale urban project developing the philosophy of cooperation between humanity and nature by MAD Architects, La Duree imagines the natural environment as an organic system. By transforming nature into a man-made industrial landscape with abstract visual language applied, the landscape attempts to reconstruct the power of burst and natural coexistence.
