Xuanyang Huang (b.Guangzhou, China)
Xuanyang is a Ph.D. student at HKUST(GZ) and an artist based in Guangzhou, China. His practice-based research explores the critical and creative potentials of AI in art and narratives. His works often explore AI's potential in reconstructing and reinterpreting fictional realities. His artworks have been exhibited internationally, including as a finalist for the Arte Laguna Prize (2023-2024 edition). His practice-based research has also been presented and exhibited at international conferences such as Siggraph Asia, ISEA and xCoAx. He has previously served as a lecturer at the Roy Ascott's Technoetic Art Programme and holds the Master of Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees in Creative Media from City University of Hong Kong.
